These Pigs are Cops!

Grafitti legend Seen creates first comic

I'm actually pretty conservative when it comes to respecting police officers, but that doesn't mean I don't have a sense of humor. This just looks too funny.

Press Release

Independent Publisher Terminal Press debuted "Phony-Baloney: Phony Island Phiasco", their collaboration with Planet6 Studios, at the NY Comic Con this past Friday, February 24th.

When the Mayor calls upon his police force to work security at Phony Island amusement park, these little piggies somehow end up as the main attraction. "Phony-Baloney: Phony Island Phiasco" finds our boys in pink and blue up against the Japanese Hot Dog eating champ in a battle of gurgitation greatness.

Phony-Baloney was created by Graffiti Legend Seen and is also a toy line available from his company, Planet6 Studios. The book features "Toxic Teddies" artist Rolo Ledesma, Brian Ferrara and Narek Gevorgian, the writer and artist team from "Crowpsey" and "Silent Assassin" and graffiti artist Phetus on inks. In addition to the New York Comic Convention, the title will initially only be available at the Terminal Press Website, Tattoo Seen in Bronx NY and a few select retailers until a wide release this spring. There will also be a very limited number of photo variant covers featuring Seen available to the public only at their convention appearances.

Terminal Press owner and "Phony-Baloney" writer Brian Ferrara says of the title, "It's like Police Academy, without any of the Steve Guttenberg and two hours of extra footage dedicated to Michael Winslow making helicopter and robot noises. It's that awesome." This is the first book in a series of collaborations between Planet6 and Terminal Press.

More information is available at terminalpress.com and planet6.com including previews and ordering information for both the comic and toy lines. You can visit Terminal Press at the Wizard World and San Diego conventions this season.
